What was that in the sky a few nights ago? A glowing green light? It looked like... a snake?

[She's quiet for a moment, but clearly trying so hard to sound brave.]

Time seems to go by really slowly when you're waiting for something to happen. And then when it does, it's all over before you know it...

A lot has been going on lately. Everyone returned from there, didn't they? It's a little late, but, welcome back.

Oh, and... I think I'm getting better with the familiar. I was wondering if anyone knows how to ride a horse? I don't know a lot about training, but it seems like it would be good exercise for them. I just don't want to hurt it.

I know that these animals are here to help us, but...

[Sounding a little concerned, but still doing her best to be polite.]

Some of them seem to take up a lot of space. Do you think there might be another place to keep them? He keeps wanting to come inside the house...

[she's quiet at first, obviously trying to sound calmer than she is]

[a rustling in the distance and she yelps, then sounds more nervous as she goes on]

Is there anywhere safe? What if--

[her voice is muffled by a loud shattering noise and the recording abruptly cuts]

I know everyone is just getting settled again, but... Ritsuka mentioned trying to get a picnic together since we never got the chance last time. Just in case something happens, maybe we should start now--

Does anyone else know how to bake or...? Maybe if we all pitched in, we could do something soon.

Riku, Sora, everyone--

[her voice becomes choked and she goes into a coughing fit; she sounds a little crestfallen when she speaks again]

--is everyone okay? Please be careful.

[a pause and her tone shifts]

... I don't want it to happen again. Someone knows how to change it back, don't they? What can I do...?

It's the end of the year... but it's not really the end of anything, is it? I'm glad that we're together again, so I can spend it with you.

[she cuts herself short and hesitates a minute before switching to a filter]

[quieter but almost forcefully cheerful]

I picked up some food, I think... we'll be okay for a while. I'm coming back to the house now. I'll be there soon.

[/filter]

[her voice is small and wavering, obviously trying to keep from panicking]

Sora, Riku.... There's something wrong with the house.

[a startled scream and a clatter before the transmission cuts]

I'm still getting used to this place, but ... maybe it's not quite as bad as it seems? Whatever darkness was here might have already left.

No matter what happens, we'll all make it home again.

I hope it's alright, but I invited some new friends over. They wanted help baking, and I thought that it might be fun to do together.

Roxas... you're here too right? Maybe you could stop by and meet them. Or... just come by later?
